Sweepstakes Period: Connected By Pets' iPad® Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:01 am Central Time ("CT") on 3/24/11 and ends at 11:59:59 pm CT on 6/30/11 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). On or about 5/1/11, 6/1/11, and 7/1/11, random drawings will be held, from among all eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period, to select three (3) potential Grand Prize winners as detailed below.

Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other United States territories), who are at least eighteen (18) years of age, or of the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater, as of the date of their entry. Participants under 18 must obtain the permission of their parent or guardian. Employees, Contractors, Staff, and Volunteers of OnlineHobbyist.com, Inc. and it's subsidiary web sites ("Sponsor"), and any of Sponsor's or respective affiliates, parents, subsidiary companies, or advertising and promotion agencies (collectively the "Sweepstakes Entities") and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or those living in the same household of each (whether or not related thereto) are not eligible to enter or win the Sweepstakes. Void everywhere else outside the U.S. or where otherwise prohibited or restricted by law. Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, local and municipal laws. By entering the Sweepstakes, participants are bound by and agree to these Official Rules, and the decisions of Sponsor , which are final and binding.

How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www.connectedbypets.com (the "Promotional Site") and once registered for the site,, fill out at least the "primary animal interest" section of your profile, upload an image, then log in and post a status update to your profile. Each status update posted constitutes a separate contest entry. Status updates must be real, unique messages - you cannot just post the same thing every day. Eligibility of an update is subject to review and verification by Sponsor to be deemed valid, and the Sponsor's decision is final. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service provider will apply. All status updates must be posted by 11:59:59 pm CT on 6/30/11 to be eligible. The computer clock of the Webmaster hosting the Sweepstakes is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries. Entries generated by a script, macro, bot or any other automated means will be deemed void. Entries that are submitted through sweepstakes clubs or similar methods, or those that are mechanically reproduced, copied, incomplete, or inaccurate are void.

Prizes and Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): "Grand Prize(s)": Three (3) Grand Prize winners will each receive one (1) Apple® iPad® ARV of each Grand Prize is four hundred and ninety nine dollars ($499.00). Total ARV of all prizes awarded in the Sweepstakes is one thousand four hundred and ninety seven dollars ($1,497).

Prize Conditions: All prize details, including exact make and model of prizes, are at Sponsor's sole discretion. In no event will Sponsor be responsible for awarding more than the stated number of prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or any portion thereof) with another prize of greater or comparable value, as determined by Sponsor. Actual value of prizes depend on any fluctuations in current market conditions at time of prize fulfillment, and any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value, if any, will not be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash awards are allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor. The prize conditions stated herein are not all inclusive. All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all guarantees and warranties on merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to said manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.

Random Drawings & Notification/Acceptance: On or about 5/1/11, 6/1/11, and 7/1/11, one (1) potential Grand Prize winner on each date will be selected in random drawings, performed from among all eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor will conduct the drawings. The decisions of Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. All winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Odds of winning a Grand Prize are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Potential winners must comply with these Official Rules as published in order to accept a prize and be confirmed as an official winner. Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential Grand Prize winners by email on or about 5/1/11, 6/1/11, and 7/1/11. As a condition of being named an official prize winner, winners may be required to sign and return, within seven (7) calendar days of notification attempt (or less if a time is specified by Sponsor during notification or on the Release) an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity (where legal) and Liability Release ("Release"), or, winners may simply be required to verbally accept their prize and confirm their mailing address. Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential winners two (2) times during the above referenced seven (7) day period. If notification attempts for a potential prize winner fail for any reason, or if a potential prize winner does not comply with these Official Rules, or Sponsor's directions upon notification, such prize may be forfeited and an alternate potential prize winner will be selected from among remaining eligible entries, if any. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its designees to use the name, actual likeness, and biographical information of a prize winner in connection with the Sweepstakes and the exploitation thereof (including, without limitation, for advertising and promotional purposes) in perpetuity, throughout the universe, in all media whether now known or hereafter devises, without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

General Rules: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. In the event of a dispute over the identity of the a Selected Winner, the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the email address used to submit the entry will be declared the potential Grand Prize Winner. "Authorized account holder" of an e-mail address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Acceptance of a Grand Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use Grand Prize winners' names and likenesses for promotional, advertising or any other purposes in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Sweepstakes.

Limitations of Liability: Entrants, by participating in the Sweepstakes, release and agree to hold the Sweepstakes Entities harmless from and against any and all liability, claims or action of any kind whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death and bodily injury, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, including participating in this Sweepstakes or in any Sweepstakes-related activity, whether sponsored, held by, or paid for by a third party or by Sponsor. Each entrant agrees to indemnify Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes and to hereby acknowledge that Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize herein. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN AWARDS FOR, AND ENTRANTS HEREBY WAIVE ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER. Once confirmed as a prize winner, Sponsor may use, display, distribute or publish such prize winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, address (city and state), biographical information, and any material based thereon or derived therefrom, or to refrain from so doing, in any manner in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised, anywhere in the world in perpetuity in connection with this Sweepstakes, or as Sponsor otherwise determines in its sole discretion, and for purposes of advertising or trade in promoting or publicizing Sponsor, its products and/or services, without compensation (where legal). Acceptance of a prize constitutes a waiver of any claims to compensation, royalties, or other remuneration for such use.
